▍New scam methods are on the rise! Do not share your screen
A:Recently someone called me and said there was an issue with my account. They asked me to turn on the messaging APP’s screen sharing function, told me to open up my banking app and it sounded as if they were in a hurry.
B:You need to be carful, that’s a scam.They pretend to be customer service personnel but are actually trying steal the money in your account or fraudulently charge your credit card
Common scam methods
Scammers often impersonate online shopping platforms, logistics companies, or financial customer services and make a series of bogus claims :
•Order errors or inability to place an order
•Problems in delivering a package
•Account related issues or a request to update personal information
Followed by requests to:
•Activate the screen saving function
•Instructions to engage in online banking or operate another APP
Remember, do not active the screen sharing functionand refuse to engage in online banking or typein a password as instructed
